Biya is a third-year Medical Sciences student at Western University. Through her experiences in clinical and research settings, she has developed an interest in understanding how chronic health conditions affect patients' daily lives and overall well-being. She is particularly interested in the interdisciplinary nature of chronic pain research and the importance of recognizing patients' lived experiences in developing more effective, person-centred approaches to care. As a member of the kNOw-PAIN team, Biya looks forward to contributing to ongoing research initiatives and further exploring approaches to improving the quality of life of individuals living with chronic pain.
